My first experience in the blog-o-sphere was back in my first year of high school. It was exciting, different and I absolutely adored it.
Not much has changed in those last five years, other than my fading obsession with One Direction and the colour of my hair. Although, I haven’t written much lately, and I always like to use the excuse that I just simply don’t have time. I go to work, to dancing and watch Gossip Girl. Then it’s the weekend, but no – the weekends are for relaxing.
If you really love writing, isn’t that relaxing enough? I always wanted to be a writer, and that’s the reason why I started this blog in the first place. Not only to share my words with people but to be involved with the amazing talents of online authors.
Once upon a time, the name of my blog was Cheeta Cake. People always ask me what it means and where it came from. To be honest, I’ve got no damn idea. It’s kind of like a cheetah, but not really because there’s no ‘h’, and I guess I just really liked cake.
I have decided to make a change. Since my time here, I have grown up a lot. And, I suppose this blog has grown up with me. Cheeta Cake has been re-invented into a little site called Sincerely, E. For the past year or so, all of my articles are signed off with my signature goodbye, ‘Sincerely, E’. I don’t know about you, but it seems to make a lot more sense to me than having cheetahs on cake.
The design has also had a revamp, mainly because I am obsessed with the colour pink right now and my Photoshop skills are getting better by the day. Hence, the fact I have a real life logo now.
By doing this, I’m hoping that I will inspire myself to keep writing and to quit making up excuses as to why I can’t do it.
47,044* people are subscribed to this blog. Without all of you, I wouldn’t be upgrading this site and, who knows, I may have not even still had it. I thank you all greatly for being supporters of Cheeta Cake, whether you were here from the start or you’ve just come along for the ride.
If you have, you got here at the right time – it’s about to get way more exciting.
